Concept are a great way to organize projects, distribute tasks or even illustrate a term paper with a colourful explanatory chart. And now, with CMapTools, they're easier than ever to create. This application helps you to design any type of relational charts, concept maps and other types of diagrams. It works in a very intuitive way: double click on the screen to create a new element and right-click on it to customize its appearance. CMapTools exports charts to a variety of formats (XMl, PDF, HTML.) and also enables to share them on the Internet, although we found the connection to CMap a bit slow. Recent changes • Fixed the problem on the Mac that prevented the program to launch when the 'Check for Updates' was executed before running CmapTools • Fixed the problem on the Mac where logs were truncated because of running under VM 1.6 • Adds Greek as one of the languages supported by the CmapTools GUI • Fixes the problem when generating thumbnails under certain Linux distributions Pros • Intuitive interface • Fully customizable maps • Exports to several formats Cons • Sharing maps online is slow.
I have a the C-Map PC-Planner v 11.0 software installed with the orange USB C-Card reader installed. I make a route on the PC and transfer it to the 2Mb User Card inserted in the USB C-Card Reader.
I check the files and it all looks ok. I insert the User C-Card in my plotter (lower slot) and go MARKS - LOAD/SAVE USER CARD - LOAD WPT/RTE DATA FROM CARD The I recieve a error message USER CARD NOT PRESENT SAVE FAILED NO OR INCORRECT CARD ENSURE USER CARD IS CORRECTLY INSERTED IN THE LOWER SLOT It does not fell lika a C-Map problem, rather a Raymarine problem. Do you have any idea how to proceed? Should I maybe suspect the User C-Card itself (but it loads routes FROM and TO the PC-Planner Software). My Plotter software version is 4.11 I triede by making a Factory Reset to my plotter but nothings seems to help. Have not been 'playing' with the NT cards for many years. Had a friend working 'inside' with legal access to the whole chart base that helped me build 2 special cards with the charts I needed for my trip.
Cinderella and four knights cast. Should I have bought the standard set-up, I would have ended up with some 15 cards and quite a cost. This way I only paid license for the ones I needed.
The standard USB readers (dongles) you may get with some software to enable to read the chips on PC normally prevents you from accidentally delete/format the chips or change the map files, but allows you to add the 'route layer' on selected files. If you manage to format the chip, you may not be able to get a legal set of maps back on unless you send in the chip to a registered dealer.
