So I got a nephilim mod and it says to run the FNIS, which I couldn't find. Everything works except when I try to get out of the flight mode, I stay in no clip, even if I reload a save I saved before I activated the Angelic Flight. (Only way to fix this is to restart the game.) I saw a flying mod on the Nexus ( ) that says the same thing. I have FNIS installed apparently because I have the powers for it. So how do you Run 'Generate FNIS for Users.exe' and press 'Update' button. (That's from the Nexus Mod Description.).

Then it starts GenerateFNISForUsers.exe for you. Execute FNIS_Setup.exe. Skyrim Non Adult Mods; FNIS - Copy & Execute.

Nope im blind, the solution is on the fnis nexus page: ERROR(5): Access to the path. Is denied: Recently there is a rising number of users who get this error trying to run FNIS.

Usually (not always) these users - use NMM, and - have Steam, NMM, Skyrim all installed under 'C: Program Files(x86)'. This is NOT an FNIS issue. It has to do with authorization issues on your PC, and even the usual running as admin does not help. Usually it is NMM which creates the issue as you can see from DuskDweller's response posted as part of the known issue 'ERROR(2021)' (or 2001) below. It seems to be caused by the Windows UAC (User Account Control), by which the Microsoft tries to protect 'C: Program Files(x86)' from the users wrong doing.

To make FNIS work you can try to install FNIS manually. Remove 'Data/tools/GenerateFNIS_for_Users' first. After installation go to GenerateFNISforUsers.exe -> Click Right-Mouse-Button -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Tick 'Run as Administrator' -> OK. The only know way to RELIABLY solve this issue is to move Steam and Skyrim away from 'C: Program Files(x86)'. WHAT YOU GENERALLY SHOULD DO. For example to 'C: Games'.

• ERROR(2021) ('Language file(s) missing in Data Tools GenerateFNIS_for_Users languages'): this is an NMM issue. NMM doesn't install FNIS txt files. Here is the comment by DuskDweller (the NMM developer):This is a completely new issue where Windows UAC is preventing NMM from creating any link file (save for a few), this is usually fixed by running NMM as admin the proper way. Ics software thirukanitham astrology offer. We've yet to understand what's causing this issue, because there's a UAC-messing-with-me check inside NMM that is not triggering in this case, looks like something may have changed on Windows 10 or in a recent OS patch.

See the previos remark regarding error(5) - this applies here as well. • ERROR(2023): you have started the generator from a wrong place. ALWAYS do it from inside your Skyrim data, usually C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/skyrim/data/tools/GenerateFNIS_for_Users/Start GenerateFNISforUsers.exe. If you don't find the generator there, re-install FNIS and FNIS Spell, and make sure you say 'NO' when you are asked to 'Upgrade?' • ERROR(53) or (2012) when using Mod Organizer: An MO issue. Usually worked-around when you follow the different MO installation instructions to the point. But you need to complain there (and PLEASE DO IT) • Unjustified 'non-Steam installation' warning: start the Skyrim Steam Launcher once.

If this does not help: read the FAQ. Note: the generator result is NOT affected by this warning. • GenerateFNISforUsers.exe does not start on double-click / Error 53 (without file name): run as administrator! If the error persists, then almost certainly it's an issue with your AntiVirus software. Some AVs not only send false positives, they also remove execution rights from the.exe.

So don't be fooled when seeing the files. Uninstall FNIS, and make sure that tools/GenerateFNIS_for_Users is completely removed. Deactivate your AV, and re-install FNIS. If you still have the problem afterwards I need to know about your AV (name, version, licensed or freeware). Even when they start after you installed FNIS, they are usually caused by Skyrim, and NEVER by FNIS.

See the FAQ 'CTD' for details, and recommendations. For an advanced, comprehensive, in-depth, super guideline see Skyrim Project Stability by GrandBulwark. Is there any resolution for this? I've tried uninstalling everything (SkyrimSE, Nexus, ect - deleting all folders) and then reinstalling everything in a different folder E:Steam. Instead of program files but still when I run FNIS for the first time I keep getting this silly Error 2021 Language file(s) missing in Data Tools GenerateFNIS_for_Users languages OR wrong generator path: E: Steam steamapps common Skyrim Special Edition Data tools GenerateFNIS_for_Users I've tried it as administrator, I've checked for the ability to create folders in that folder (I can and can also delete).

I'm really at wits end.any help would really be appreciated! Originally posted by:Try reading. Perhaps I might be misunderstanding as English is not my first form of communication. I do believe i have read the posts before this and tried those fixes however I have yet to find the fix needed. Okay, you only mentioning the installation path had me thinking you did not try: Windows UAC is preventing NMM from creating any link file (save for a few), this is usually fixed by running NMM as admin the proper way. We've yet to understand what's causing this issue, because there's a UAC-messing-with-me check inside NMM that is not triggering in this case, looks like something may have changed on Windows 10 or in a recent OS patch. In other words: run NMM as Administrator and/or turn off User Account Control.
