Post by KaptainKrunk Now, I've never rolled a Paladin, but I have a question. What is the deal with PallyPower? It seems every guild, and Paladin requires PallyPower, however, I tend to see people spending more time sitting around in raids configuring, and fixing their PallyPower, rather than just manually doing it.

In several guild runs and PuGs, I've spent as much as ten minutes sitting around, listening to Paladins configuring their PallyPower, and raging into Ventrilo. Even my friend who is working on a Paladin alt with me tends to sit for about twenty minutes every day complaining about it, saying it's the worst AddOn in the world. Just answer this question without flaming me. Why the hell is it so important?

Usefull addons (all working on 3.3. Activation code finder. - Pallypower Addon for Paladin buffs. Is better than onebag3 imo.ill upload a working version for 3.3.5 an other addons u.

Is it really so much of a hassle to buff manually, that you need to spend ten minutes configuring an AddOn to do it? Seems like just pure laziness to me, but then again, I have a Rogue, and Shaman, so buffing isn't really that big of a hassle or pain. All I get is Earthshield and Tricks of the Trade. It is first time I hear about this addon:O Imo, it is an addon for morons. There is only 3 paladin buff. If there is only 1 paladin, give King to everybody unless you get a special demand. If you are 2 paladin, whisper to the other who is doing king and who is doing might/wisdom.

If there is 3 paladin, whisper to the 2nd to do wisdom and 3rd to do might. It is not that hard! It's not uncommon to see a single paladin doing something like this: Might on rogues, death knights, warriors, feral druids, prot paladins, and hunters Wisdom on mages, priests, warlocks, healing paladins, and healing druids.

Post by Silversmith There key reason why PP configuration could take time: democracy and politeness. If you want everyone to have a say, it will take time. In guild raids, I usually just tell other paladins to enable Free Assign in options and keep their hands off of the configuration window. Takes seconds to set up, and for the next couple hours of wiping you might even start feeling like the buffing process is as easy as that of the other classes.

In pugs, set up PP for those who have it, whisper assignments for those who don't, then announce to raid chat who buffs what to stop 'kings plz not might' whispers. People generally like to get instructions on how to buff, rather than have to figure it out themselves. But the addon is worth a ton. For all you 'There is only 3 paladin buff' 'tards: there are four, two of them with possibility of being improved through talents, two able to be replaced by other class abilities (also possibly talented), and one may be replaced by a scroll. Sivaji the boss songs download torrent. And then you have a fereal druid that wants might, and a tree that would rather have wisdom. It's nowhere near 'Fortitude->Spirit->Shadow protection' ease.

Sure, if all you do is VoA, no need for PP, buff kings and tell everyone else to bugger off. On the other hand, if you are scraping for that 1% more performance to beat enrage timer, you bloody well better be sure you have the best possible buff coverage in your raid. The only people I encounter without it are unguilded pug scrubs who, when asked why they don't have it, generally respond with, 'lol o ya i had it but i havent updated it in a long tim and it stopped workin' or 'wuts tat?' Only a True Scotsman, eh?

Honestly, I could see why people liked PallyPower back in the day before Blizzard fixed how we buffed, and I would certainly have required something like that when we were running MC with 5 minute buffs (oh, the pain!). However, with the way our Blessings have been updated and streamlined it's just not necessary anymore. We run with two or three Paladins at a time and nobody has an issue remembering what to do.

Post by BlueRequiem Summary at the bottom. PallyPower is an add-on most raiding paladins use to coordinate their buffs with other paladins and easily keep watch on the timers of their buffs so they can re-apply as needed.

Example: I am a holy paladin. I did not pick up Kings. I have Imp Wisdom and Imp Might. My friend Miawallace is a holy paladin. She has Kings.

Since we both have PallyPower, we can open the menu for it and coordinate our buffs to where she gives out Kings and I give out assorted Mights and Wisdoms. I am a holy paladin. Miawallace is a holy paladin. Trizenth is a new ret paladin.
